Signed Fedra Vintage Costume Jewelry

American jeweler of Greek descent Takis Phoundoulakis (born June 1937) founded Fedra Designs Ltd in 1978 in Providence, Rhode Island. The company, under the leadership of President Takis Phoundoulakis, produced jewelry until 1998.
In addition to the Fedra jewelry brand, the company also registered the Ivorina trademark in 1984. Takis also founded Fedra International in 1984, which in 1997 changed its name to European Creations LTD.
The company’s craftsmen made fashion jewelry – necklaces, earrings, bracelets and brooches using metal alloys, gold plating, silver plating, artificial pearls, rhinestones and enamel. The Greek-style jewelry markings include symbolic Greek letter Ф which stands for F, and the word Fedra.
Noteworthy, Takis and his wife Jenny’s son, Manos Phoundoulakis, followed in his father’s footsteps, but in his own way. An innovative jeweler, a specialist in stones, he has been in the jewelry business for 30 years. He is the founder of such brands as Hot Caliber Jewelry, EZEC, and Gold and Smoke.
Today, retired Takis Phoundoulakis is almost 88 years old, and he lives in Cranston, Rhode Island.
