Delmas & Delmas Jewelry Manufacturing Company

The founder of the Delmas jewelry brand was renowned jeweler and watchmaker Peter Delmas (1903–1991). The first mention of the Delmas jewelry firm dates back to August 1949. In particular, the JCK note mentioned their new office located in the Phelan Building at 700 Market Street in San Francisco, California.
According to National Jeweler magazine (1957), Leonard Delmas (1929–2015), the founder’s son was his partner. He actively helped expand the family business by undertaking large-scale projects at Delmas & Delmas. In November 1960, Delmas & Delmas, designers and merchants of fine jewelry, opened the new store at 182 Geary Street in San Francisco.

Awards
The unique Delmas & Delmas jewelry reflected the highest taste and mastery in combining precious stones. In 1963, Delmas was awarded the prestigious Diamonds International Award. Also, they received the European Diamond Council Award, and repeatedly won national jewelry competitions.

One-of-a-kind Fine Jewelry
To create their unique collections, D&D jewelers traditionally used 14-18 karat gold, imperial jade, diamonds, sapphires, rubies, tourmalines, amethysts, topazes, peridots, and other gemstones. Today, pieces bearing the D&D mark are highly sought after by collectors and occasionally appear at jewelry auctions. Delmas jewelry also rarely appeared in fashion magazines.
